I have a question, what inspired you to make this group? I mean, I have seen a lot of other groups not nearly as fun as this one! So where did the inspiration come from?
Oh man, sorry for the late reply! DA is the worst at notifications. Honestly, we just wanted to put a little life back in this place. DA is pretty much on the verge of dying and being left in the dust by other social media platforms, so this place is free much a wasteland. And a lot of the groups on here are just glorified art dumps so we just wanted to make a group that was a little more alive, you know?
Yeah! I know what you mean! At school, everyone talks about Facebook, twitter, Instagram, you tube, etc. But nobody talks about Deviant art. (Which happens to be the only social media I use)

Out of curiosity, where does the name "Umbra" come from?

I don't know why he chose the name, but I know that "umbra" is what the shadow cast by an eclipse is called. Or something like that, while "penumbra" is the outer or lesser part of the shadow.
Think "Umbreon" from Pokemon. ^^
I used to be obsessed with astronomy as a kid, and still remember some stuff. I just thought space was so cool. XD
